Master Builders Association of NSW has been calling for a revision of the NSW Home Building Act for more than seven years, and the re-write of the Act has been one of the MBA’s top policy priorities.
The NSW Government has recently released a Discussion Paper on the Reform of the Home Building Act, 1989. The invitation to comment is the first time in many years (and probably the last opportunity for sometime) for the industry to affect reform in a number of areas. Sadly, discussions closed in August, but the Master Builders Association planned to make submissions on behalf of member builders such as CBuild.
